Membership in the Halifax Field Naturalists is open to anyone interested in the natural history of Nova Scotia.
There are a number of ways to join/renew: e-transfer; mail or in person.
- The quickest and easiest way is by e-transfer to hfn.memberships@gmail.com with automatic deposit to the HFN account.

3. Joining or renewing can be done in person by speaking to a member of the HFN Executive at any meeting of the society.

The regular membership year is from 1 January to 31 December. New memberships received from 1 September to 31 December of any year will be valid until the end of the following year. Members regularly receive the monthly e-newsletter (Nature Notes), and notices of all meetings, field trips, and special program activities. The annual fees are as follows:

Family $30.00
Supporting $35.00
Institutional $35.00
