Gavin Mason, coastal geoscientist at BIO, will talk about our 300,000 km of coastline, elaborating on the geomorphology (the study of the origin and evolution of the earth’s landforms, both on the continents and within the ocean basins), the processes, and the characteristics of Canada’s coasts.
